SUSE12 Desktop Login Problems

1. If login windows does not show up, press CTRL-ALT-Backspace

2. If still doesn't work, login as root,
init 3
init 5
rm /run/nologin

Otherwise "System is booting up. See pam_nologin(8)" will show. When /run/nologin exists, the system will only allow root to login, so login as root and either rm the file, or just reboot.

Most likely this is because of /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/systemd.conf:

F /run/nologin 0644 - - - "System is booting up. See pam_nologin(8)"
